Pixar and Disney Animation have spent the last few decades making films that create everlasting memories for families and make grown men cry (Nemo just gets to me for some reason, I don’t know…).

Here is a list of all the Pixar and Disney Animation films that were previewed at D23 this year:

1.

Elemental

🔥and💧come together in this FIRST LOOK at Ember & Wade played by Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie, from Disney and Pixar’s Elemental, coming to theaters June 16, 2023!

A movie about a man made of water and a woman made of fire, falling in love. I can already feel the warm fuzzies from this one. The teaser that was shown to the crowd as D23 was an incomplete piece of art… but a piece of art nonetheless. This one will be a classic… I’m calling it. Elemental stars Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie and hit theaters on June 16, 2023.

2.

Win or Lose

Up to bat at #D23Expo: a FIRST LOOK at Pixar’s all-new Original series Win or Lose, with Will Forte as Coach Dan.
From filmmakers Michael Yates, Carrie Hobson, and David Lally, Win or Lose comes to @DisneyPlus in 2023!

This will be Pixar’s first TV series. The show follows a young co-ed softball team. Each episode will observe the same exact story, from the perspective of a different character. Will Forte stars as Coach Dan in Win Or Lose, hitting Disney + in 2023.

3.

Elio

You’re invited on Disney and Pixar’s newest adventure… ELIO.
Meet Elio: A boy who finds himself transported across the galaxy & mistaken for the intergalactic Ambassador for our planet Earth.😮

Twitter: @Pixar

Elio tells the story of a child who accidentally is mistaken for the Ambassador of Earth after his mother’s top-secret military project connects him with aliens. Elio stars America Ferrera and Yonas Kibreab and debuts Spring 2024.

4.

Inside Out 2

Oh JOY! Amy Poehler is back to star in Inside Out 2. Directed by Kelsey Mann, produced by Mark Nielsen, and written by Meg LeFauve, Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2 releases Summer 2024.

Twitter: @Pixar

Amy Poehler graced the stage to introduce this one and says it’ll be based on a teenager’s emotions this time, as Riley gets older. Audiences will see new emotions as well! Inside Out 2 is due out Summer 2024.

5.

Zootopia+

Go back to the fast-paced mammal metropolis of Zootopia in “Zootopia+,” a new short-form series coming to Disney+ in 2022! #DisneyPlusDay

This short-form anthology series looks like a lot of fun for the kids. Check out Zootopia+ on Disney + Nov. 9, 2022.

6.

Iwájú

Journey into a futuristic version of Lagos, Nigeria with this FIRST LOOK of Disney Animation and Kugali’s Iwájú!

The all-new Original series streams on @DisneyPlus in 2023

Described as “A love letter to Lagos, Nigeria” by Olufikayo Ziki Adeola, Hamid Ibrahim, and Tolu Olowofoyeku, Iwájú gave me a bright and vibrant experience. We got to see brief animations from the film at D23, and I’m ecstatic to witness this hit the public. Iwájú, a coming-of-age animated series, touches down on Disney+ in 2023!

7.

Strange World

Disney’s big movie this Thanksgiving is Strange World. The cast came out to introduce some footage from the film at D23, which was light-hearted and fast-paced. We got to see the Clade family escaping a group of what looked like aliens mixed with spiders, and the dynamic was comical! Strange World stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Dennis Quaid, Jaboukie Young-White, and Lucy Liu and hit theaters on Nov. 23, 2022.

8.

WISH

Walt Disney Animation Studios revealed a FIRST LOOK at “Wish,” their all-new animated feature film that explores how the iconic wishing star came to be. (1/2) #D23Expo

Twitter: @Disney

The showcase ended with a preview of Wish, and Ariana DeBose came out to sing the theme song from the upcoming film. Set for a Fall 2023 release, Wish will be an easter-egg-filled Disney adventure that follows Asha (DeBose), a hero who calls to the stars for help. Disney seemed REALLY excited about this one so I can’t wait to see the final product.
